Nous pouvons vous proposer de la documentation et vous indiquer de magnifiques balades sur des sentiers méconnus et sauvages en plein Pays Cathare. Le territoire est vraiment insolite, venez.

Welcome to a charming bed and breakfast in the Montagne Noire which will be of particular interest to walkers and those wishing to explore this beautiful region by car. LES ILHES CABARDES This quaint village in the Aude is quiet and a river running by adds to the charm of the sleepy medieval hamlet. It is 15 minutes from the historic City of Carcassonne and one minute from the Chateaux of Lastours
The friendly hosts, Christine and Alain, can advise you on walks and places to visit. They know these mountains and the footpaths scribbled over them like the backs of their hands as for many years Christine has been a mountain guide and before that she and her old white horse, Banjo, explored the mountains. You can still see Banjo and Alain’s horse who live in fields close to the house. Their mountain climbing days are over and they live in happy retirement with Christine’s chickens. Christine and Alain house is also La Pause Cafe and you can linger over beer or coffee in the garden or on one of the sun loungers by the river.

Bienvenidos al País Cátaro. El pueblo es tranquilo y auténtico. Acogemos con gentileza y sencillez. El jardín a orillas del río para el descanso, los caminos para camirar y descubrir - Cosas simples - para una estancia a 2 mn castillos de Lastours. La Montagne Noire es hermosa, salvaje, mediterránea y tan particular. Ríos y lagos forman parte del descubrimiento. Los sitios turísticos grandes y pequeños jamás son muy lejos (Cité de carcassonne, Albi, Cordes sur Ciel, Sidobre, Gouffre Géant de Cabrespine (Precipicio gigante) Minerve, Sorèze, Y el mercado muy pintoresco de Revel y Carcassonne el Sábado por la mañana... ¡ Venga! No será decepcionado.
Upstairs is a bedroom equipped with four bunk beds and a delightful double bedroom with a view of the Lastours chateaux, a toilet, washbasin and a walk in shower. The bedroom with the bunk beds costs 26 /28 euros per person per night including breakfast. The double bedroom costs 55 euros.
The long fruitful garden leads down to the river.
To find La PAUSE from Carcassonne, follow signs to the Chateaux de Lastours on the road D101 - Les Ilhes is 2 kilometres after Lastours.
